Hanayagi-style Classical Japanese Dance
School Information
Start now to improve yourself
There are many ways to learn and enjoy Classical Japanese dance.
Learning traditions that have continued since the Edo period, learning manners, moving the body to strengthen the legs, and discovering a different self by dancing on stage. You can nourish your mind by learning Classical Japanese dance for various individual purposes.

Private lesson for adults
Private lessons where you can learn in a relaxed atmosphere to suit you. In this lesson, you will learn the basics of Classical Japanese dance, such as how to put on a kimono and how to grip a fan, and improve yourself.
Safe&healthy lesson for elderly
Even people with disabilities and those who cannot stand up can participate in rehabilitation. This is a course for creating a healthy mind and body by moving your body to familiar songs. We also have affordable group lessons.
For children (3 to 12years old)
In our school, we are focusing on children as "Maimai Kids Classical Japanese Dance Class". First of all, we will start with the nursery rhyme "Sakura Sakura" and practice along with the sound of "chin ton shan" and the shamisen ( a three-stringed Japanese banjo-like musical instrument ). From the 4th grade onwards, you will be able to put on your own kimono. Traditional Japanese dance is not only about moving your body, but also about "courtesy" and "spirit of the Japanese people".
